Have you ever heard the expression, "Spare the rod, spoil the child"? It may seem like a crude belief, however, the thought behind this expression is this...what seems like a bad thing (crisis) is usually a blessing in disguise.

So, what is the "blessing" we are learning from the financial crisis that is affecting people from around the globe? Money connects us all in some way. What started with the American "free market" banking system has spread to every continent and every person, with or without will. So, if money connects us, shouldn't we all unite to correct this situation?

Michael Laitman talks about this in greater detail on his website: www.laitman.com/2008/10/the-financial-crisis-an-analysis/

It's certainly a very tough time. Here is a interesting article that I bookmarked awhile back. Just thought you may find it interesting as it approaches the "root of this crisis".

Look at the mess we’ve all gotten ourselves into. Our largest companies, California, your (reader) employers and municipality are not far behind.

This is the beginning of it all falling apart. We are all going to know someone who will lose a job in the next few months. All because of our addiction to credit, to spending what we don’t have.
